As a follow-up to the RVTD 10-Year Long Range Plan, RVTD has completed a 5-Year Strategic Business and Operations Plan. The Strategic Plan looks at Tier One from RVTD's Long Range Plan to understand the steps the District would need to take to initiate Tier One. This includes the operations cost of providing the additional services, vehicle purchases that would be necessary to increase routes and hiring of additional staff. Tier One includes a re-instatement of a route to east Medford along Barnett Rd., Increasing service hours District-wide to start at 4:00 am and end at 10:00 PM Monday through Friday, providing service on Saturdays and adding service to the White City area. RVTD also analyzed long-term, stable fiscal resources for funding Tier One.
