Every three years, RVTD polls people on the bus to understand passenger demographics and trip characteristics. These surveys help RVTD understand how we are meeting the needs of passengers today and highlights who in the community uses transit, how often and for what purpose. Surveys have been conducted in 1993, 1995, 1999, 2001, 2005 and 2008.
Surveys were conducted in April and May with randomly selected passengers allocated among the six (6) routes, according to the percentage of total ridership represented by each route.
