A History of Doing More
Since 1975 the Rogue Valley Transportation District (RVTD) has been providing public transit services to community members across the valley. RVTD’s mission is to provide quality public transportation, viewed by residents and visitors as a realistic and viable alternative to the personal automobile, and to thereby improve the quality of life in the Rogue Valley.
In 2019 RVTD took a historic step by providing more routes than they have had in their 44 year history. With 13 routes in operation RVTD serves 8 communities and provides nearly 1.5 million passenger trips per year. In the spirit of doing more, RVTD created RVC: Ashland pilot program to increase access to public transit options.
