Since 2018, RVTD’s Pedals for Patriots program has been making a positive impact in our community. We’ve collaborated with various veteran support organizations providing refurbished bikes to veterans in need. Thanks to community support we’ve distributed nearly 300 bikes to our honored military veterans. But our mission doesn’t stop there – in recent years the scope of RVTD’s Bike Program has expanded to help those affected by the Almeda and Obenchain fires, individuals experiencing homelessness, and numerous adults and youth in the Rogue Valley.
How You Can Help: Donate Your Working Bicycles
RVTD’s Bike Program relies on the generosity of our community. If you have a working condition bicycle that you no longer need, consider donating it to us. Your contribution can make a significant difference in the lives of those who need reliable transportation.
1. Check your garage or storage for any working bicycles you no longer use.
2. Reach out to RVTD to schedule a donation drop-off or pickup. Email us at bike@rvtd.org
