What is Valley Lift Connect?
Valley Lift Connect is a completely new scheduling system for the Valley Lift Program that makes it easier than ever to book, manage, and track your rides. Powered by RideCo, this system handles real-time scheduling, routing, vehicle matching, and trip alerts—helping rides run more efficiently and stay on time.
Valley Lift Connect will provide access to a free mobile app and online scheduling portal where riders can schedule and manage trips, track their driver’s location, and receive real-time ride notifications and messages. Riders who do not have access to a smartphone or computer may continue to schedule rides by calling the Valley Lift call center.
Rides are always scheduled ahead of time and matched with the best available vehicle to meet your mobility and seating needs, while also supporting on-time performance and overall service efficiency for the Valley Lift program.
Whether you use the secure rider app or scheduling portal or prefer to call to book a ride, you are free to choose the option that works best for you.
Program changes you should know
- Valley Lift Connect app and online scheduling portal will replace the current Valley Lift scheduling portal for riders and delegates. Now Available!
- Subscription rides: May be scheduled up to 21 days in advance (previously 30 days).
- Single (non-subscription) rides: May be scheduled up to 14 days in advance (previously 30 days).
Use the app, the portal, or both—it’s up to you.
Using Valley Lift Connect
How do I sign in?
Before you can sign in to the Valley Lift Connect app or online portal, your account must be activated. To activate your account, call Valley Lift at 541.842.2080. We will verify your information and send you an email with a link to create a new password. When you receive the email, follow the steps to set your password and sign in for the first time. Keep your password in a safe place.
You will not be able to log into the Connect app, online portal, or schedule Valley Lift rides through them, until your online account has been activated.
How do I book a ride?
You can book a ride using the free Valley Lift Connect app, schedule online through the Valley Lift Connect portal, or by calling our call center at 541.842.2050.
What are the step-by-step instructions for how to book rides online/in the app?
- STEP 1
Log into the Valley Lift Connect app or online scheduling portal with your username and password. See “How do I sign in” if you have not activated your online accesses yet. - STEP 2
Select your “Origin” and “Destination” by typing the address or selecting it on the map. Select the number of passengers who will be traveling with you, seat type(s) needed, and the date and time of your trip. Be sure to verify all ride information before moving to Step 3. - STEP 3
Review the available ride times and select the one that works best for you. - STEP 4
On the day of your ride, be ready for the driver to arrive before the start of your pickup window. Use your smartphone to track your driver and be prepared to board the vehicle when it arrives. Pay for your ride using your Umo card or cash (exact fare only).
How long will the driver wait?
You will receive a notification (Connect app only) when your vehicle has arrived to pick you up. As a courtesy to other riders, driver’s will wait no more than 5 minutes. In order to stay on schedule, the vehicle will depart if you have not boarded the vehicle within the 5-minute waiting period.
Will the Driver make stops along the way?
The driver may pick up and drop off other passengers along the way. Drivers are not authorized to make unscheduled stops. If you need to go to more than one destination, you must schedule a separate ride for each location in advance.
Can I track my ride history and receipts?
You can view all your ride details under “My Journeys” in the app, where both upcoming and past rides are stored. Additionally, after each completed ride, a receipt is automatically emailed to the address used for booking.
How should I prepare for my pickup?
To ensure the best service for all passengers, please be ready to board at your pick-up location the start of your 30-minute pickup window. You’ll receive a notification when your vehicle arrives if you booked through the app. If you are not present when the vehicle arrives, the driver can only wait briefly before needing to proceed with their route to maintain service for other passengers. Repeated missed pickups will affect your ability to use the service.
After I book my ride, when will I know my vehicle is on the way?
You will receive SMS notifications when the driver is on the way and when they arrive. You can also track your driver in the app.
